Booth Season (boothseason.com) is run by Notice Me Marketing and Media LLC in Ocala, Florida ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: you can browse without giving us anything, we don't use tracking cookies or ads, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
Nothing, if you only browse. You don't need an account to search events, read listings or use the filters.
What you send us in a form. When you fill out one of our forms, we receive what you type:
- Weekly vendor email: your email, first name (optional), state, home area and the kinds of things you sell.
- Booth Season Pro sign-up: your name, email, mobile number (optional, for text alerts), business name (optional), state, area, vendor types and the plan you picked.
- List your event: the event details plus your name, email, phone (optional) and organization.
- Claim a listing: the event, your name, role, email, phone (optional) and the changes you want.
- Advertise: your name, company, email, phone (optional), the product you're interested in and your message.
Each form also records the page you sent it from.
Event information. Our listings come from organizers and from public posts and pages. We keep organizer contact details in our own records so we can check listings, but we don't publish organizer email addresses or phone numbers on the site.
Basic server logs. Like any website, our host receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you request when you visit.
How we use it
- To send the weekly vendor email and alerts you asked for, for your area and vendor types.
- To review, publish and update event listings, and to reply to organizers and advertisers.
- To set up and bill paid products you sign up for.
- To send a confirmation email when you submit a form.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We don't use your information for anything unrelated to Booth Season, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.
Your location
If you tap "show booths near me", your browser asks for your location. Your approximate location (rounded to about a mile) is used on your device to sort events by distance. It is never sent to us. Your browser remembers it so the sort still works when you come back. You can clear it by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Cookies and tracking
Booth Season doesn't set cookies, doesn't run analytics or advertising trackers, and doesn't show third-party ads.
Who else handles your information
We use a few service providers to run the site. They handle information only to provide their service to us:
- Notice Me CRM, our own customer system, stores form submissions and sends our email.
- SendGrid delivers our email.
- Vercel hosts the website and the CRM.
- Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.
- If you buy a paid product online, the payment processor named at checkout handles your card details. We never see or store full card numbers.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Emails and text alerts
Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also email darrin@noticememedia.com and we'll take you off. If you gave us a mobile number for text alerts, we'll only text you about the alerts you signed up for. Message and data rates may apply. To stop texts, email us and we'll remove your number.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you're subscribed or while we're working with you, and for as long as we need it for billing records. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email on a do-not-email list so we don't contact you again.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email darrin@noticememedia.com from the address you signed up with and we'll respond within 30 days.
If you're an organizer and want your event changed or removed, claim the listing or email us.
Children
Booth Season is for vendors and event organizers. It isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also tell subscribers by email.
