How do vendors get a booth at the Lincoln County Fair?
The fair doesn't post a vendor application, fee or deadline online, so you start with a phone call.
- Call the right contact. For a food or concession stand, or to rent space on the grounds, call Darrell Gray, who handles grounds rental and concessions vendors, at (931) 993-9477. For a booth in the Commercial Exhibit Building, contact Debby Terry-Keith at (615) 714-2183 or dterrykeith@gmail.com.
- Ask what the application needs: what you sell, the space size, whether you need electricity, and any tax ID or insurance requirement. None of these is published.
- Ask about the fee and how to pay. Not yet published. Contact the fair office.
- Ask for the deadline. Not yet published. The fair runs September 18–25, 2027, so call early in the year.
- Ask when you'll hear back and get your space confirmed in writing.
- Ask for setup and teardown times. Not published. In 2026 the gates opened at 8 a.m. on opening Saturday, 4 p.m. on Monday, and 11 a.m. or noon on the other days.
The fair's published rules apply to every concession: the fair can inspect any booth at any time, can cancel a concession "for reasons satisfactory to itself" without a refund, doesn't cover loss, damage or theft of your property on the grounds, and doesn't allow sales of anything against state or federal law.
